Job summary

WSP in the U.S. is seeking a Bridge Inspection Assistant Team Leader to join our team in Pennsylvania. This role is ideal for those new to bridge inspection, where you will assist with inspections, prepare load ratings, and support project work.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering and relevant certifications. We offer competitive benefits including medical and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in bridge or tunnel inspection or design.
• Nationally Certified Bridge Inspector (NCBI) certification.
• Certified Bridge Safety Inspector (CBSI) certification.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team.
• Act as an Assistant Team Leader on inspections.
• Support preparation of cost proposals and project documentation.

Skills

Proficient knowledge of structural engineering principles

Competent interpersonal and communication skills

Advanced proficiency with technical writing and office software

Ability to work independently and guide others

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering

Engineer in Training Certification

Tools

AutoCAD

Microstation
