WSP USA is seeking a Bridge Inspection Assistant Team Leader / Structural Engineer to join its Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team in Pennsylvania with offices in Philadelphia, Exton, Ephrata and Mechanicsburg. The role supports inspection projects, develops plans, and mentors junior engineers while balancing field and office responsibilities.
The candidate will hold a structural/civil engineering degree, current NCBI and CBSI certifications, and an Engineer in Training credential, with 1-3
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Nationally Certified Bridge Inspector (NCBI) certification current.
- Certified Bridge Safety Inspector (CBSI) through PennDOT, current.
- 1–3 years in bridge/tunnel/inspections or related work.
- Engineering in Training Certification.
Responsibilities
- Work with Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team on inspection projects.
- Assist as Assistant Team Leader on Bridge, Tunnel, and Ancillary Inspections.
- Perform professional structural engineering work and inspections.
- Assist in preparation of Bridge & Tunnel Load Ratings.
- Develop plans/sketches using AutoCAD/MicroStation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute project work.
- Provide guidance to junior team members and develop technical skills.
