Job summary
WSP is seeking a Bridge Inspection Team Leader, Senior Structural Engineer to join our Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team in Pennsylvania. You will lead inspections, perform structural analyses, and guide junior staff while developing plans using AutoCAD.
The role combines field work and office duties, with certification requirements including NCBI and CBSI, and a background of 5–10 years in related work. WSP offers a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- NCBI certification current (FHWA bridge inspection training) or PennDOT equivalent.
- CBSI certification current.
- 5–10 years in bridge/tunnel/related inspection or design work.
- Engineer in Training certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team on various projects.
- Serve as Team Leader on Bridge, Tunnel & Ancillary inspections.
- Perform professional structural engineering work and inspections.
- Assist in preparation of bridge/tunnel load ratings.
- Develop plans/sketches using AutoCAD and related tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute projects.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide training guidance.
- Support cost proposals and scope of work documents.
