Job summary

IMEG is hiring a Senior Bridge Engineer in Sioux Falls, SD to lead large, highly complex bridge projects as a project manager or lead engineer. The role includes design and detailing for bridges, walls, culverts, and related transportation structures, with budget management and staff mentorship.

You will work with engineers and consultants to direct projects, provide engineering solutions, and ensure client success while delivering resilient infrastructure.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; SE license or SE exam also required.
• 8 years of experiencia in building design consulting; 10 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, oversee, and manage projects of varying size and complexity, acting as primary contact for teams and clients.
• Collaborate with business development staff and leadership during project opportunities.
• Assist with design scopes, fee calculations, proposals, and contract reviews.
• Create project schedules with milestones and deadlines.
• Prepare monthly billings and update billing projections.
