Job summary

IMEG is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer in Sioux Falls, SD to lead large, complex projects as a project manager or lead engineer. You will deliver structural design for bridges and related transportation structures while mentoring staff and overseeing budgets.

The role emphasizes client relationships, design quality, and compliance with owner standards, IMEG guidelines, and code requirements. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Structural Engineer (SE) license and/or SE exam required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, oversee, and manage projects of varying size and complexity, acting as primary contact for teams and clients.
• Collaborate with BD staff, Project Executives, Client Executives, and Market Leaders on project opportunities.
• Assist with design scopes, fee calculations, proposals, and contract reviews.
• Create project schedules with milestones and deadlines.
• Prepare monthly billings and update billing projections.
