Job summary

IMEG Corp. is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer in Sioux Falls, SD to lead large, complex projects as a project manager or lead engineer. You will deliver structural design for bridges, retaining walls, and culverts, with cross-functional collaboration to meet project goals.

The role includes budget management, staff mentoring, and travel up to 25%. A PE license is required; SE license is preferred. ESOP ownership and extensive employee benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent, PE license required, SE license or exam preferred.
• Minimum 8 years in building design consulting; 10+ preferred.
• Strong knowledge of bridge design codes and NBIS inspection.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage projects of varying size; act as primary contact for teams and clients.
• Lead project interviews, presentations, and client communications.
• Assist with design scopes, fee calculations, proposals, and contracts.
• Create project schedules with milestones and deadlines.
• Prepare monthly billings and update billing projections.
• Ensure designs meet owner and IMEG standards and codes.
• Mentor staff and develop client relationships.
• Manage change orders and approvals with stakeholders.
