Job summary

IMEG is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer in Sioux Falls, SD to lead large, complex bridge projects as project manager or lead engineer. You will deliver structural design for bridges, retaining walls, culverts, and other transportation structures while mentoring staff.

You will collaborate with engineers, consultants, and leadership across disciplines to ensure designs meet owner and IMEG standards, codes, and client needs. The role emphasizes project direction, budgeting, and client development.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• Professional Engineer license required; SE license or SE Exam required.
• 8 years of experience minimum; 10 preferred in building design consulting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, oversee and manage projects of varying size and complexity as primary contact for teams and clients.
• Collaborate with business development staff and leadership during project opportunities.
• Assist with design scopes, fee calculations, proposals, and contract reviews.
• Create project schedules with milestones and deadlines.
• Prepare monthly billings and update financial projections.
