Job summary

IMEG Corp. is recruiting a Senior Bridge Engineer in Sioux Falls, SD to lead large, complex bridge projects as project manager or lead engineer. You will provide design and detailing for bridges, walls, culverts, and related structures while mentoring staff and managing budgets.

You will work with teams to deliver engineering solutions, ensure QA/QC, and build strong client relationships through collaboration and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering; PE license required.
• SE license or SE exam passed required.
• 8 years minimum experience, 10 preferred in building design consulting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, oversee, and manage projects of varying size and complexity, acting as liaison for teams and clients.
• Collaborate with executives and staff during project opportunities and pursuits.
• Assist with design scopes, fees, proposals, and contract reviews.
• Create project schedules with milestones and deadlines.
• Prepare monthly billings and update billing projections and completion percentages.
• Ensure designs meet owner, IMEG, and code requirements with QA/QC support.
• Lead project interviews and presentations; conduct client communications.
• Mentor, train, and motivate staff; build client relationships.
