Job summary

Value Apothecaries is seeking an experienced contracts leader for a remote role open to U.S. candidates in the Eastern or Central time zones. Proximity to Philadelphia is preferred, and travel to Philadelphia 4–5 times a year may be required.

The role emphasizes end-to-end contracting, cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Finance, and Operations, and maintaining contract language libraries. Strong negotiation and project-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• This role requires a four-year bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–4 years of direct contract negotiation experience.
• Pharmaceutical healthcare contracting or distribution sourcing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead distribution agreement negotiations for Branded & Specialty Rx with end-to-end contracting.
• Align negotiation strategy between business units and manufacturers with Channel Strategy & Product Access teams.
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Operations, Replenishment, and other stakeholders to document input.
• Maintain a library of acceptable variations of standard contract language.
• Represent Cencora during complex negotiations and outline alliance terms.
• Update leadership on pending negotiations and manufacturer updates.
• Ensure contract life-cycle management and compliance with policies.
• Collaborate to optimize processes and reduce resourcing burden on sourcing.
• Work with data/CRM/ERP systems to track updates and performance metrics.
