Job summary

WillScot is seeking a Branch Operations Manager in New Jersey to lead branch operations, drive safety, control costs, and manage the workforce and inventory. The role focuses on delivering excellent service standards and high customer satisfaction while ensuring compliance with company policies and laws.

You will oversee production, logistics, and customer service activities, coordinate with HR, and optimize fleet management and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3 years of applicable experience.
• 5 years experience managing one or more direct reports in a Service Shop/Manufacturing/Building Construction environment OR 2 years of experience with WillScot
• Experience managing a unit or departmental budget OR 2 years of experience with WillScot
• Ability follow direction and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience applying creativity to problem-solving
• Build sustainable relationships and trust with vendors through open, proactive communication
• Ability to effectively manage multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect managerial oversight to branch operational employees.
• Manage daily tasks and duties for temporary workers and contractors as appropriate.
• Communicate clearly and timely with all branch staff.
• Use internal systems to deliver safe, timely, cost effective revenue activities.
• Control costs through fleet maintenance, inventory and servicing.
• Plan with budgets and actively manage costs to operate the branch.
• Ensure work orders, off rent/damage billing, inventory and purchasing are compliant.
• Ensure parts, VAPS and resources are readily available for efficient operations.
• Collaborate with HR to recruit and develop the branch workforce.
• Manage logistics including safety, resources, DOT, and route efficiency.
