Job summary

WillScot is seeking a Branch Operations Manager to oversee daily branch operations, safety, costs, and the workforce, ensuring high service standards and responsive customer support.

You will manage production, inventory, and logistics while collaborating with HR to recruit and train staff and maintain efficient operations across our fleet. A strong focus on process improvement and vendor relationships is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or 3 years of applicable experience.
• 5 years experience managing one or more direct reports in a Service Shop/Manufacturing/Building Construction environment OR 2 years of experience with WillScot.
• Experience managing a unit or departmental budget OR 2 years of experience with WillScot.
• MS Office/Excel/Word/Outlook experience
• Ability follow direction and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience applying creativity to problem-solving
• Build sustainable relationships and trust with vendors through open, proactive communication
• Ability to effectively manage multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect managerial oversight to branch operational employees, including Production Supervisors, Shop/Yard Labor, Field Service, Dispatchers, Drivers, and Branch Coordinator.
• Manages tasks, daily assignments and duties for temporary workers and contractors as appropriate.
• Utilizes internal systems to deliver safe, timely, cost-effective revenue activities.
• Oversees cost management through maintenance, inventory and servicing of fleet; uses company resources efficiently.
• Plans with budgets; actively manages costs and all branch operations.
• Ensures accurate work orders, off-rent/damage billing, inventory and purchasing compliance.
• Collaborates with HR to recruit and train the branch workforce; develops talent and maintains a learning environment.
• Manages logistics, safety, DOT, and route efficiency.
• Ensures off-rents are completed on time and fleet is inspected for work order accuracy.
