Job summary

WillScot is seeking a Branch Operations Manager to lead the branch's operations, production, and customer service functions, ensuring safety, cost control, and high service standards. This role oversees production supervisors, drivers, dispatchers, and other staff across the branch.

You will drive workforce development, manage budgets, and coordinate with HR to recruit and train talent, while maintaining accurate inventory, implementing process improvements, and delivering reliable, on-time

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or 3 years of applicable experience.
• 5 years experience managing one or more direct reports in a Service Shop/Manufacturing/Building Construction environment OR 2 years of experience with WillScot.
• Experience managing a unit or departmental budget OR 2 years of experience with WillScot.
• Ability follow direction and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience applying creativity to problem-solving.
• Build sustainable relationships and trust with vendors through open, proactive communication.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect managerial oversight to branch operational employees including Production Supervisors, Shop/Yard Labor, Field Service, Dispatchers/Transportation Coordinators, Drivers, Branch Coordinator.
• Manages tasks, daily assignments and other duties for temporary workers and contractors as appropriate.
• Communicates clearly to all branch employees and utilizes internal systems for safe, timely, cost effective revenue delivery.
• Oversees cost management through maintenance, inventory and servicing of the fleet.
• Uses budgets and planning tools to manage/operate a branch and ensure compliance.
• Ensures accurate work orders, inventory, purchasing and damage billing.
• Collaborates with HR to recruit, train and develop the branch workforce.
