Job summary

WillScot is seeking a Branch Operations Manager to lead a branch team, oversee daily operations, and drive safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The role emphasizes cost control, inventory management, and workforce development within a fast-paced service-shops environment.

You will manage production, dispatch, and field service tasks, collaborate with HR for staffing, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations while delivering high-quality service to customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or 3 years of applicable experience.
• 5 years experience managing direct reports in a service shop/manufacturing/building construction environment. OR 2 years of experience with WillScot
• Experience managing a unit or departmental budget. OR 2 years of experience with WillScot
• MS Office/Excel/Word/Outlook experience
• Ability follow direction and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience applying creativity to problem-solving
• Build sustainable relationships and trust with vendors through open, proactive communication
• Ability to effectively manage multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect managerial oversight to branch operational employees.
• Manages tasks, daily assignments and other daily duties for temporary workers and contractors as appropriate.
• Employs timely and clear communication to all branch employees.
• Utilizes internal systems to provide safe, timely, cost effective, high quality and efficient delivery of revenue activities.
• Oversees cost management through maintenance, inventory and servicing of the fleet.
• Uses planning tools and budgets; actively manages costs for branch operations.
• Ensures timely work orders, off rent/damage bill, inventory and purchasing compliance.
• Ensures available parts, VAPS and other resources for efficient operations.
• Collaborates with HR to recruit and develop the branch workforce and maintains learning environment.
• Manages logistics including safety, resources, DOT, route efficiency.
• Focuses on fleet maintenance, damage control and contract compliance.
• Drives first-time quality and reduces service calls; conducts root cause analysis.
