Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union is seeking an Associate Branch Manager II in Susanville to lead daily branch operations, coach staff, and ensure excellent member service. The role reports to the Branch Manager and emphasizes compliance, planning, and community engagement within a not-for-profit cooperative.

You will oversee tellers and Member Service Specialists, drive performance, and implement strategic initiatives to grow member satisfaction and financial inclusion in California.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or HR preferred.
• 3+ years progressively responsible supervisory experience in retail or financial institution.

Responsibilities

• Ensures delivery of exceptional member experience on the platform and teller line; handles escalated issues.
• Directs and supervises day-to-day activities of Member Service Specialists.
• Trains and coaches employees on operations and compliance across the branch.
• Maintains staff scheduling to meet member service demands.
• Assists Branch Manager with strategy, promotions, and service objectives.
• Supports HR processes for direct reports including appraisals and development.
