Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union is seeking a Member Service Specialist IV at the Susanville Branch to provide trusted financial guidance to members and support branch operations. This non-exempt, hourly role reports to the Branch Manager and offers opportunities for growth within a member-owned cooperative.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in a leadership role at another financial institution preferred.
• 1.5+ year in a Member Service Specialist III role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes and audits financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments and general ledger entries while maintaining a cash drawer.
• Provides Golden 1 services to members, including cashier’s checks, money orders, savings bonds, wire transfers and transactions.
• Assesses members' needs while processing transactions.
• Identifies opportunities to help members relative to Golden 1 products or services and documents in EnAct system.
• Identifies and reports fraudulent activity to management and Financial Investigations dept., per procedures.
• Assists in ATM/Teller Dispenser operations, including maintenance tasks.
• May lead open/close duties in absence of Branch Manager or Associate Branch Manager.
• Verifies signature cards in ECM and checks acceptance within limits.
• Maintains confidentiality of member and credit union information.
