Global Credit Union is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in West Branch, IA to supervise branch activities and lead staff while delivering exceptional member service and sales performance. You will mentor employees, drive cross-sell initiatives, and ensure compliant daily operations across the branch.

The role emphasizes empathetic, personalized service, staff development, and community engagement to grow member relationships and brand presence.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience with proven ability to coach and develop sales and service excellence.
• Demonstrated track record of managing and meeting operational objectives and sales goals.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communications and personnel management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise branch activities and staff to achieve member service and sales goals.
• Coach, lead and motivate branch employees; conduct monthly one-on-ones and training sessions.
• Mentor staff through engagement strategies to support promotions and development.
• Deepen member relationships via conversations, referrals, and engagement across branches.
• Oversee daily operations including compliance, security, branch cash control, and balance sheet tasks.
• Schedule staff to ensure optimal coverage and payroll accuracy.
