Job summary

Global Credit Union is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager who will supervise branch activities and staff while focusing on delivering exceptional member experiences and sales results.

The role requires leadership in coaching, cross-selling, and ensuring compliance and operational integrity, with a strong emphasis on employee development and community engagement. This position is based in the United States, Ohio region, at a branch location.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience with proven ability to coach and develop sales and service excellence.
• Demonstrated ability to manage operational objectives and achieve sales goals.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication and personnel management skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with existing and prospective members to create a positive member experience consistent with the organization.
• Coach, lead and motivate branch employees through feedback, monthly one-on-ones, and training sessions.
• Mentor branch staff through development and engagement strategies for advancement.
• Deepen member relationships through face-to-face conversations and referrals to other lines of business.
• Promote brand awareness through in-branch promotions and community events to generate new business.
• Oversee daily operations including compliance, security, cash controls, and general ledger accounts; address deficiencies.
• Manage schedules and payroll data to meet staffing and payroll deadlines.
• Support insurance quotes and binding for Personal Lines products and meet quote/issue goals.
• Monitor Member Service Center call activities and allocate assistance as needed.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive work environment and solicit diverse ideas to challenge thinking.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
