Troutman Pepper Locke LLP is seeking a Billing Manager to lead the Billing team, overseeing daily operations, reporting, and workflow optimization in a fast-paced firm—ensuring accuracy, policy conformance, and timely monthly closes.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of large-team leadership in a law firm environment, with preferred experience in eBilling and Aderant systems. This on-site role offers strong collaboration and professional development opportunities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training, skills and experience.
• Minimum of five years managing a large team in a high-volume environment.
• Law firm experience preferred; eBilling experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide holistic updates about billing to firm leadership.
• Prepare and review daily, weekly, or monthly billing reports.
• Review and monitor billing transactions for accuracy, timeliness, and policy conformance.
• Develop strategies to optimize billing workflow.
• Collaborate with attorneys and Legal Support to design invoicing to client requirements.
• Respond to client billing inquiries with high service levels.
• Liaise between Legal, Billing, and other Troutman Pepper teams.
• Lead department meetings and mentor team members; support performance development.
• Oversee monthly close cycle and ensure timely billing completion.
• Utilize technology to maximize efficiency while maintaining professionalism.
