Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience managing a large team in a high-volume environment, preferably in a law firm. This position emphasizes leadership and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; training and experience may be considered.
• 5+ years' experience managing a large team in a high-volume environment, preferably in a law firm.
• Experience with eBilling is preferred.
• Experience with a legal billing system (Aderant or similar) is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic updates about billing to team leadership.
• Review and/or prepare daily, weekly, or monthly reports as required.
• Monitor billing transactions for accuracy, timeliness, and policy conformance.
• Develop strategies to optimize workflow and improve processes.
• Collaborate with attorneys and Legal Support to design invoicing meeting client needs.
• Respond to billing inquiries with high-quality customer service.
• Lead and mentor the Billing team; conduct regular meetings and development discussions.
• Oversee the monthly close and ensure successful completion.
