Job summary

Plona Partners is seeking a Senior Billing Coordinator in our Finance Department to manage the unbilled and billed inventory for a portfolio of top revenue-producing clients and lawyers. You will produce invoices for clients with complex billing arrangements while adhering to client terms and outside counsel guidelines.

• Experience with client billing and invoicing processes.
• Knowledge of LEDES IDs and e-billing workflows.
• Strong accuracy in applying client terms and discounts.

Responsibilities

• Manage billing for a portfolio of lawyers/clients with complex terms.
• Document and ensure compliance with client guidelines and outside counsel guidelines.
• Resolve e-billing issues and address rejected invoices.
• Maintain unbilled and billed inventory; revise invoices when needed.
• Recommend write-offs for aged balances where appropriate.
• Monitor billing incentives and target achievement.
• Keep matter arrangement coding current with transactional codes and estimated bill dates.
