Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with utility billing or complex accounts preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Proven problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with Excel and MS Office is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Under limited supervision, manage timely and accurate billing for commercial customers.
• Validate bill calculations and bill print.
• Manage special contract account setup and ongoing maintenance of billing attributes.
• Monitor customer billing and account data across systems for accuracy and consistency.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and system-generated exceptions.
• Prepare reports and other documentation as required.
• Process meter-related account changes and ensure accurate customer billing.
• Research and respond to customer inquiries as needed.
• Respond to inquiries through email, messaging platforms, and other channels.
• Provide training within the team after initial training.
• Represent the department in cross-functional meetings and projects.
• Collaborate in policy and procedure updates.
• Serve as SME for complex billing processes.
