Hitachi Energy USA INC is seeking a Senior Bid & Proposal Specialist in Raleigh, North Carolina, to drive persuasive, cost-effective bids across Power Conversion Solutions projects in North America. You will collaborate with engineering, supply chain, sales, and finance teams to deliver competitive tenders from concept through award, ensuring high-quality submissions and strong customer alignment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 3 years of tendering or proposal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• At least 3 years of tendering, estimating, bid management, or proposal development.
• Knowledge of renewable energy, energy storage, or related electrical power systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a solution-oriented mindset.

Responsabilités

• Lead the preparation of competitive bids, estimates, and quotations.
• Develop customer-focused solutions balancing technical excellence, value and profitability.
• Coordinate bid activities across engineering, supply chain, sales, product management, and finance teams.
• Manage technical, commercial, financial, and risk review processes.
• Support customer and internal technical discussions during proposal development and evaluation.
• Identify and mitigate commercial and project risks throughout tendering.
• Analyze tender outcomes and drive continuous improvement to increase win rates.
• Foster positive customer relationships with safety, integrity, and collaboration.
