Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Specialist - Proposals and Business Development in Raleigh, NC to develop technical and commercial proposals for utility, renewable energy, industrial, and data center customers across North America.

You will collaborate with engineering, project management, sales, supply chain, legal, and leadership to create competitive solutions that meet customer requirements and support strategic growth objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business, Project Management, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in proposal development, estimating, sales support, project management, or contract administration.
Experience in power systems, utility automation, SCADA, or substation automation industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for Substation Automation, SCADA, RTU, and related solutions.
Review RFQs, specs, contracts, and technical requirements to develop compliant proposals.
Coordinate with engineering and business teams to define scope, pricing, and schedules.
