Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Sr. Service Technician in Michigan to diagnose, repair, and maintain Battery Electric Vehicles. You will train technicians, handle HV systems, and ensure precise documentation of all service activities.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in luxury auto repair, ASE and EPA609 certifications, and strong customer communication skills. A valid license and ability to work with remote/mobile teams are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Service Technician or Diagnosis Technician.
• ASE Certifications (A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, L3, L4-ADAS) - Required.
• Diagnosing and repairing High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) systems and EV powertrains.
• Experience in luxury automobile repair environments.
• Customer facing with excellent communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and DMS software.
• EPA 609 Certification.
• Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year.

Responsibilities

• Repair electro-mechanical issues and perform diagnostics with confidence.
• Train and assist junior technicians on HV systems and EV powertrains.
• Maintain high knowledge of HV/LV systems and EV components.
• Be SME in at least 1-2 major repair categories.
• Follow repair order documentation procedures (Three C’s).
• Document all customer vehicle interactions using the software suite.
• Communicate effectively with service team and customers.
• Support mobile service team remotely as needed
• Other duties as assigned
