Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, maintain and repair Lucid vehicles in a fast-paced environment. You will demonstrate passion for sustainable transport and complete ASE certifications within 6-8 months; Lucid reimburses the cost.

Expect collaboration with advisors, managers, and customers as part of a high-standard service team. Responsibilities include diagnosing complex issues, recording repair data accurately, and supporting remote/mobile service teams when needed.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years as automotive service technician experience.
• Experience with EV/HEV diagnosis and repair.
• Knowledge of HV/LV systems and EV powertrains.
• Customer-facing communication skills are required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and DMS software.
• EPA 609 Certification required.
• Willingness to complete Lucid CPR training after hire.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Repair basic and major mechanical issues and diagnose electrical and mechanical systems.
• Maintain knowledge of HV/LV systems and EV powertrains.
• Follow repair order documentation procedures, The Three C's.
• Document all customer vehicle interactions in the software.
• Communicate with service team and customers effectively.
• Demonstrate and teach learned technical skills to others.
• Show attention to detail and create positive client experiences.
• Support mobile service team remotely as needed.
