SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior BESS Engineer to lead design, development, and optimization of battery energy storage systems on a fully remote basis. You will guide project teams, review studies, and ensure compliant, safe, and reliable BESS solutions across utilities and EPC contexts.

The role requires 5+ years in BESS or power systems, strong knowledge of BESS components and grid interconnection, and excellent leadership skills. PE license is preferred; travel may be required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related; master's preferred.
• 5+ years in electrical engineering with focus on BESS or power systems.
• Expert in BESS design, lithium batteries, inverters, and BMS.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as SME for BESS engineering scopes and provide guidance.
• Lead design and engineering of BESS projects ensuring compliance.
• Review feasibility studies, site assessments, and sizing analyses.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Develop specifications, drawings, and procurement support.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and energization activities.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering excellence.
• Stay current with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support business development through technical consultations.
