Job summary

Intersect is building utility-scale battery energy storage systems to enable reliable clean energy and grid support. The role blends system design, performance modeling, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver projects from concept through execution.

The candidate brings 3–7 years in energy storage or power projects, with strong knowledge of grid integration and safety standards. A collaborative, safety-focused approach is essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• MS/PhD preferred for advanced roles.
• Experience in energy storage, power generation, or similar industries.
• Hands-on experience with utility-scale storage or large-scale power systems.
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, IEEE standards.
• Strong grid integration knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead a BESS project lifecycle from land acquisition to COD.
• Develop and refine performance models to optimize system efficiency.
• Design and size utility-scale energy storage systems to meet targets.
• Integrate storage with generation assets for grid compatibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, development, and execution.
