Job summary

VOALA is a Los Angeles-area nonprofit delivering substance use treatment, housing, and support services. The Senior Behavioral Health Manager will marshal resources across VOALA programs to deliver counseling, crisis intervention, and life planning, while ensuring licensing compliance and data quality in both paper and EHR files.

Based in Downey, CA, this full-time on-site role leads program development, budgeting, staff training, and cross-agency collaboration with funders to meet performance

Qualifications

• Pass fingerprint clearance & background check.
• Current Alcohol and Drug Counseling Certification or LMFT/LCSW/LPCC license.
• 3 years of management experience with budgeting in non-profit sector.
• 2 years in policy development and continuous improvement.
• Experience in contract management.

Responsibilities

• Develop program budgets, goals, and service delivery for VOALA programs.
• Oversee facility operations and health/safety standards across SCADP and VOALA facilities.
• Ensure accurate client records in paper and EHR formats.
• Monitor program services for quality and impact; report to senior management.
• Train and supervise SCADP and VOALA teams on requirements and tools.
• Coordinate program reporting to funders and manage stakeholder relations.
