Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Behavioral Health Manager to marshal resources, oversee multiple substance-use programs, and ensure compliance with licensing and funding requirements. The role emphasizes program development, budgeting, and interdepartmental coordination to support VOALA's mission.

The Operations Manager will monitor licensing, coordinate with grant funders, and lead staff training to maintain high-quality services for clients in LA.

Qualifications

• 3 years of business or non-profit management with budget oversight experience.
• 2 years of policy development and continuous improvement experience.
• Experience in contract management.

Responsibilities

• Program development: manage budgets, goals, and service delivery per grant requirements.
• Develop policies and records to support CARF accreditation and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee operations, health and safety standards across VOALA facilities.
• Ensure accurate recording of services in both paper and EHR formats.
• Support grant reporting and liaison with funders to meet requirements.
• Train, coach, and mentor staff on program requirements and tools.
