Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Behavioral Health Manager to lead program development and operations across SCADP and VOALA substance use facilities. The role ensures licensing compliance, data quality, and successful grant reporting while coordinating with regional clinical and QA leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business (or related discipline) or 4 years of related experience.
• Current Alcohol and Drug Counseling Certification by an approved accrediting organization (CCAPP, CADTP or CADEE) OR Current License as LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC.
• 3 years of experience in Business or non-profit Management with Budget Management / Oversight Experience.
• 2 years’ experience in policy development and continuous improvement.
• Experience in contract management.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop program budgets, policies, and goals for SCADP and VOALA substance abuse programs.
• Oversee program operations and health/safety standards across facilities.
• Ensure client services are properly documented in hard and electronic records.
• Coordinate with Regional Clinical Director, Program Managers, and QA to meet funder requirements.
• Train and coach staff on program requirements and EHR usage.
• Collaborate with community partners to link services and resources.
