Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America (PECNA) is seeking ambitious engineers to lead the world’s largest lithium ion battery initiative at our Sparks, NV site. You will drive high‑volume production improvements, troubleshoot on the floor, and collaborate with maintenance and design teams to enhance efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.
• Evidence of exceptional ability; full‑cycle engineering ownership from start to finish.
• Experience performing engineering functions and responsibilities in manufacturing.
• Able to train operators on new or revised processes.
• Flexibility to work between floor and office/desk.
• Strong troubleshooting and data analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production on the floor with troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Analyze production data to reduce defects and improve OEE.
• Lead complex troubleshooting and redesign efforts.
• Develop and review CAD drawings and standard work instructions.
• Manage rollout of permanent countermeasures and CAPEX proposals.
