Job summary
Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America (PECNA) seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the Manufacturing Engineering team at our on-site lithium‑ion battery production facilities. You will guide process development, optimize layouts, and drive high‑quality, scalable manufacturing for millions of cells daily.
The role requires 8+ years in engineering with 5+ years in leadership, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing, product development, design, or related areas.
- 5+ years of leadership experience.
- Strong analytic and decision‑making abilities.
- Working‑level knowledge of English (reading, writing, speaking).
Responsibilities
- Lead the Manufacturing Engineering team and set direction.
- Interview, hire, train, and evaluate staff per policies.
- Design and improve battery manufacturing processes and layouts.
- Analyze procedures to reduce time and cost and improve yield.
- Develop measurement and control systems for manufacturing processes.
