Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America (PECNA) seeks an Engineering Supervisor to lead a skilled team in one of the world’s largest lithium-ion battery initiatives. Role focuses on optimizing production, reducing defects, and driving high-performance manufacturing at PECNA’s Sparks facility.

Ideal candidate has 5+ years in engineering with strong leadership, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration. Bachelor’s in engineering is required; MSc preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years engineering experience in manufacturing, product development, or design.
• Strong analytic and decision-making abilities; able to influence others.
• Self-motivation and resourcefulness are required.
• Able to manage multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers in battery production processes.
• Improve OEE to increase productivity and reduce defects.
• Use production data to manage tasks and actions.
• Develop clear work instructions, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
• Communicate with management and related departments to meet targets.
