Affirm is seeking a Bank Controller to lead the bank accounting function as we scale. You will oversee monthly financial reporting, regulatory filings, and audit coordination, while building automation with engineering and product teams.

The role requires CPA/CA, 10+ years in accounting and leadership, GAAP expertise, and strong regulatory experience in the financial services or fintech sector. This is a remote-first, nationwide position with competitive base pay and full benefits.

Qualifications

• CPA or CA designation required/preferred.
• Ten or more years in accounting, finance, or treasury roles.
• Experience building and scaling an accounting team in the financial services/fintech sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead Bank accounting team, provide strategic direction, recruitment, and coaching.
• Serve as primary liaison with cross-functional partners and external stakeholders.
• Oversee monthly financial reporting to internal/external stakeholders and regulators.
