Job summary

Meritas Advisory Group, LLC is seeking Production Supervisors for its bakery operation in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. This is a hands-on leadership role supporting first, second, and third shifts with a team of 15–25 production employees, driving safe, high-quality output and meeting production goals.

Responsibilities include leading daily activities, coaching staff, enforcing GMPs and safety standards, and partnering with maintenance and quality teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising production in food manufacturing; bakery or frozen foods preferred.
• Proven ability to lead employees, manage performance, and drive accountability.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, staffing, and shift assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while setting clear expectations.
• Maintain food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor production performance, address downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Communicate priorities and ensure effective shift handoffs.
