Job summary

Accounting Search has partnered with a respected food manufacturer in the Rocky Mount, NC area to recruit Production Supervisors for bakery operations. These full-time, on-site roles cover first, second, and third shifts, leading a team of about 15–25 employees and ensuring safe, high‑quality production.

You will coach and develop staff, coordinate with maintenance and quality, monitor performance, and help meet production goals while upholding food safety and GMPs.

Qualifications

• Production supervisory experience in food manufacturing, bakery or frozen foods preferred.
• Proven ability to lead employees, manage performance, and build accountability.
• Working knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and manufacturing operations.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work assigned shift and support production scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, staffing, and shift assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while setting clear expectations.
• Maintain food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor production performance, address downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Communicate priorities and ensure effective shift handoffs.
