Job summary

Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, providing flexible pay-later options with no hidden fees. This role focuses on owning, evolving, and scaling test automation frameworks and end-to-end tests across multiple teams.

You will design solutions to reduce test time, write ADRs and specs, and participate in on-call rotations. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required, along with 3+ years in test automation and experience with TypeScript, Python, Playwright, and CI

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in test automation.
• Proficient in TypeScript and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and Pytest.
• Experience building and optimizing CI pipelines.
• Experience with Docker and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Own, improve, and maintain integration and E2E test automation frameworks and related CI pipelines.
• Design and implement technical solutions to optimize test execution time and stability.
• Write technical specifications and ADRs and collaborate with engineers across the company.
• Support engineering teams by triaging requests and sharing QA best practices.
• Contribute to the evolution of the company’s overall test strategy.
• Break down large projects into tasks and deliver in phases.
