Job summary

Affirm is a remote‑first company reinventing credit to be honest and friendly. We are seeking a test automation engineer to own, improve, and run end‑to‑end test automation frameworks and CI pipelines using TypeScript, Python, Playwright, and Pytest.

You will collaborate across engineering teams, write ADRs and specs, help optimize test execution time, and participate in an on‑call rotation. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 3+ years in test automation are required, with strong communication

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in test automation.
• Strong knowledge of testing techniques and methodologies.
• Experience building or enhancing test automation frameworks and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Own, improve, and maintain integration and E2E test automation frameworks and CI pipelines.
• Design and implement technical solutions to optimize test execution time and stability.
• Write technical specifications and ADRs and collaborate with engineers across the company.
• Support engineering teams by triaging requests and sharing best practices for QA and test automation.
• Contribute to evolving the company’s test strategy.
