Job summary

Affirm is seeking a skilled test automation engineer to own and evolve our integration and end-to-end testing frameworks and CI pipelines. You will design scalable test solutions, write specifications, and collaborate across engineering teams to improve quality and release speed.

You’ll work with Playwright, Pytest, Docker, and AWS, contributing to test strategy and on-call rotations, while growing your technical leadership. Remote-friendly, nationwide hiring.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and Pytest.
• Experience in building and optimizing CI pipelines.
• Experience with Docker and AWS.
• Strong background in quality assurance and testing methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Own, improve, and maintain integration and end-to-end test automation frameworks and CI pipelines.
• Design and implement technical solutions to optimize test execution time and stability.
• Write technical specifications, ADRs, and collaborate with engineers.
• Support engineering teams by triaging requests and sharing best practices for QA and test automation.
• Contribute to evolution of the company’s test strategy.
• Break down projects into tasks and deliver in phases with team collaboration.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
