Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend data systems experience in production.
• Hands-on design of data-intensive systems and data pipelines.
• Experience with onchain smart contracts on EVM or Solana.
• Proven ability to iterate on code repositories in production.
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Integrate new blockchains and DEXs into the Coinbase app.
• Design and deploy onchain contracts for trading primitives.
• Scale real-time data pipelines to handle 100K+ messages per second.
• Optimize the trading stack end-to-end for fast execution.
• Foster agentic-first development patterns and tooling.
