Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale using Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
• Experience shipping web apps with React or Vue.
• Practical use of LLMs or AI frameworks to enhance automation and guidance with guardrails and citations.
• Ability to define a technical plan for the delivery of a significant feature or system component with an elegant, simple and extensible design.
• Ownership mindset and able to make changes safely in a large codebase.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a global team.
• Equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for your team, leading engineers through ambiguity to solve open‑ended problems.
• Collaborate with product management, design & analytics to ideate, define technical constraints, and weigh risks and trade‑offs.
• Identify project, process, technology or business issues and lead in solving them.
• Support operations and availability by creating metrics, escalating when needed, and sustaining on‑call efforts.
• Foster a culture of quality and ownership by improving code review and design standards.
• Develop talent by providing feedback and guidance and leading by example.
