Affirm is seeking a Software Engineer to design and build a next-generation reliability platform for Affirm's production systems. You will blend distributed systems engineering with AI-assisted development to give teams a single place to understand, debug, and improve the health of their services.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience as a software engineer.
Experience designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale.
Proficient with Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

Own and deliver quarterly goals for your team.
Collaborate with product management, design & analytics in the lifecycle.
Identify and advocate for issues and lead in solving them.
Support operations and on-call efforts to keep services healthy.
Set and improve code review and design standards across the team.
Develop talent and provide feedback to the team.
