Job summary

Cengage Group in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an account executive to drive new business within a defined territory. You will build relationships, develop penetration strategies, and manage a robust pipeline of high-value opportunities, engaging senior IT leaders and CISO/CIO/CTO stakeholders to close complex deals.

You will lead multi-stakeholder sales cycles, articulate the value of InfoSec solutions, and coordinate pricing and contract negotiations in line with company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Over 2 years of experience in B2B sales.
• Experience selling cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise tech solutions preferred.
• Experience engaging senior executives (CISO, CIO, CTO) and leading complex sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of new business acquisition within the specified territory, focusing on relationship building.
• Develop and complete account penetration strategies to break into net-new accounts and expand market presence.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline of high-value opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking.
• Identify and engage key collaborators, including CISO, CIO, CTO, and other senior security and IT leaders.
• Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from initial engagement through negotiation and close.
• Position and articulate the value of InfoSec solutions in context of cyber workforce readiness and compliance.
• Drive deal strategy, including pricing and contract negotiations per guidelines.
• Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting with visibility into progress and risk.
• Self-motivated, resilient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
