Job summary

Cengage is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to drive remote, US-based growth. You will own new business, penetrate accounts, and manage a robust pipeline by engaging CIOs, CTOs, and CISOs to advance multi-stakeholder deals.

In this role, you will navigate complex sales cycles, articulate value of InfoSec solutions, and negotiate pricing within company guidelines, while forecasting with the CRM team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, focused on opening new business opportunities.
• Experience selling cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise technology solutions.
• Proven ability to engage senior leaders (CISO, CIO, CTO) and manage multi-stakeholder deals.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of new business acquisition within the specified territory, focusing on relationship building.
• Develop and execute account penetration strategies to enter net-new accounts and grow market presence.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline through proactive prospecting and executive engagement.
• Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from initial engagement to close.
