Job summary

Cengage Group, a global edtech leader, seeks an Account Executive to own new business within large enterprise accounts (2,000+ employees) in the United States. You will build penetration strategies, engage C-level IT leaders, and drive multi-stakeholder sales cycles from discovery to close.

Responsibilities include positioning InfoSec solutions around risk and resilience, negotiating contracts, and maintaining an accurate pipeline.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in B2B sales with new business focus
• Experience selling cybersecurity/SaaS/enterprise tech preferred
• Experience engaging senior IT leaders (CISO/CIO/CTO)
• Ability to manage complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles
• Track record of meeting/exceeding quotas in high-growth settings
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Familiarity with CRM and sales engagement platforms
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead new business acquisition for enterprise accounts (2,000+ employees)
• Develop account penetration strategies to win new logos and expand presence
• Build and manage a robust pipeline through proactive prospecting
• Engage CISO, CIO, CTO and other senior leaders
• Lead multi-stakeholder sales cycles from start to close
• Position InfoSec solutions around risk, compliance and resilience
• Drive deal strategy, pricing and contract negotiations
• Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast with risk visibility
• Be a self-motivated, independent thinker in a fast-paced environment
