Job summary

WM is seeking a Senior Account Executive to prospect and close sales with new customers while maintaining existing relationships to hit budgeted goals. The SAE will visit customer sites most of the week and work from home the rest, developing strategic plans and negotiating contracts to drive revenue.

Responsibilities include expanding billable value, retaining accounts, and coordinating with Area Managers to optimize services and solutions.

Qualifications

• 4 years of work experience in direct business-to-business sales, cold calling, and phone-based prospecting.
• Bachelor's Degree (accredited) required, or High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of related sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow billable value in assigned accounts; prevent losses and expand with new services and products.
• Initiate and close sales opportunities to meet budgeted goals; develop prospect plans and maintain CRM data.
• Retain customers by reducing cancellations and improving satisfaction; escalate issues with Area Sales Managers as needed.
• Prepare complex proposals and negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts.
• Coordinate with Plant Managers and Brokerage Account Managers to upgrade materials and improve profitability.
