Job summary

Verisys is seeking a hands-on Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and secure AWS infrastructure for a healthcare credentialing platform. The role blends cloud engineering, systems administration, and DevOps, with ownership of Linux, Windows, and on-prem Nutanix environments, plus container platforms and SSL/TLS management.

You will automate with Python, PowerShell, Bash, and AWS Systems Manager, lead certificate renewals, participate in on-call, and support HITRUST and SOC

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or systems administration.
• 3+ years supporting production workloads in AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate secure, highly available AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, IAM, ECS, S3, RDS, Route 53, CloudWatch, Systems Manager).
• Manage infrastructure as code (CloudFormation) and support CI/CD pipelines for container builds and deployments.
• Serve as Linux subject matter expert: provisioning, hardening, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
