Job summary

Verisys is seeking a hands-on Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to build, secure, and scale the infrastructure behind our healthcare credentialing platform. The role spans cloud engineering, systems administration, and on‑prem Nutanix, with responsibilities across Windows and Linux, containers, and automation.

You will manage EC2, VPC, IAM, ECS Anywhere, Rancher, and Postfix/SES, implement IaC with CloudFormation, and support HITRUST and SOC 2 compliance in a remote US-based environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, and/or systems administration.
• 3+ years supporting production workloads in AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate secure, highly available AWS infrastructure across EC2, VPC, IAM, ECS, S3, RDS, Route 53, CloudWatch.
• Manage infrastructure as code (CloudFormation) and support CI/CD pipelines for container builds and deployments.
• Run containerized workloads on ECS/ECS Anywhere and administer Rancher Cattle clusters.
