Job summary

Verisys seeks a hands-on Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, secure, and scale the AWS-based infrastructure for our healthcare credentialing platform. This remote role requires you to live in eligible states and act as the SME for Linux, Nutanix, and container platforms.

You will own SMTP relay, SSL/TLS cert management, and automation with Python/PowerShell/Bash, while supporting HITRUST and SOC 2 compliance on a small, high-ownership team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or sysadmin roles.
• 3+ years supporting production workloads in AWS.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate secure, highly available AWS infrastructure.
• Manage infrastructure as code (CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Run container workloads on ECS Anywhere and Rancher clusters.
