Job summary

Verisys seeks a hands-on Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with deep AWS expertise to design, secure, and scale our healthcare credentialing platform. This remote role blends cloud engineering with systems administration on Windows and Linux, plus on-prem Nutanix, container platforms, and SSL/TLS management.

You will implement infrastructure as code, support CI/CD, and automate with Python and PowerShell.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or sysadmin roles.
• 3+ years supporting production workloads in AWS.
• Strong Python development for automation.
• Expert-level Linux administration and Windows Server admin skills.
• Experience with IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, Route 53, CloudWatch.
• On-prem Nutanix experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate secure, highly available AWS infrastructure.
• Manage infrastructure as code (CloudFormation) and CI/CD support.
• Provide Linux SME guidance and Windows Server administration.
• Administer Nutanix Prism Element/Central on-prem and cloud integrations.
• Automate configuration and patching with Python, PowerShell, Bash.
• Oversee SSL/TLS certificate renewals and renewals automation.
• Maintain monitoring, logging, and incident response; support compliance.
